Michael Cozart has been working in construction his entire life. Coming from a multi-generational family in construction, he got his start working for various builders, Architects, and Engineers from Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. Driven to excellence, Michael started Drafting and Design in 2013 with a vision to provide his clients with efficient, quality Construction Documents, utilizing, among other things, sustainable building methods. Continually striving to provide his clients with the highest possible quality and accountability, He became a professional member of the American Institute of Building Design in 2017, and became a Certified Professional Building Designer, Certified Residential BIM(Building Information Modeling) Manager, as well joined the American Institute of Architects as an associate member in 2023. The following year, he received his certification from ACCA for Residential HVAC design for Quality Installation in 2024. He loves to spend his free time with his wife and two daughters hiking, camping, and fishing in Chaffee county and surrounding areas.
